Default My dyno day

My car dynoed at 282.4rwhp and 290.6rwtq. thats with the stock xcal2 performance tune. We had to stop before we could do a custom NA tune because the right o2 sensor said there was a leak and my air/fuel ratio wasnt reading right. it could be a leak or a back 02 sensor. I never had any n20 runs because of that. Dan the tuner said with a little tuning we could get close to 300rwhp NA. Then he said i need to upgrade my fuel rails and to a focus pump before i could do a the 100shot safely.

Kick *** Dude! congrats. Those #'s are great, but sounds like they are going to get much better. Good luck. Good thinking with the fuel system stuff!

very good numbers! Good luck with the N20 as well! When it come time to run the 100 shot ( I assume it is a wet kit being NX) I would just get the focus pump, and shorten the fuel line from the solenoid to the nozzle to approximately 1/2 the length of the nitrous line going from the nitrous noid to the nozzle. Doing those two things will virtually eliminate the lean spike that occurs during the activation of the nitrous system. I really don't think that upgrading the fuel rails is necessary at all as long as you have the shorter line and focus pump. That is the setup I have and it is working great! again thats only if it is a wet kit.

maybe i dont have to. i have the fuel selenoid mounted on the plenum. which is about almost a foot long. while the n20 line is about 2and a half feet long. yeah i have the Nitrous express EFI kit(shark nozzle).

we shall see what happens with a 75shot. then if no lean spike i will go up to 100.

sounds like a good setup- that is about the same way my system is as well. I have a 2 foot 3AN line running from my nitrous noid and a 12" line from the fuel to the nozzle. Anyways good luck with you setup and make sure to post up those Nitrous #s!

Get rid of the hand tuner and get yourself a dyno tune!

Good stuff, what kind of dyno is it? Any graphs?

I've yet to see a cammed/stock head GT make 300RWHP N/A.
