I have the SLP PP and i highly recommend it too. Change the thermo to a 180 though. The 160 runs the engine to hard.

I called SLP before the purchase and they state they get there dyno numbers from a stock mustang. Now you don't know the tune they use, but he assured me that it was a stock 2000 GT they got there ###'s from.

Now somebody would need to do a dyno on there pony to verify, but mine was a major power increase. This was my first power mod I made. Induction was next.

regardless of the tune or statements from SLP, there is no possible way they are making 290 RWHP or even 280 RWHP on a accurate dynojet with this kit alone.

Just like ford power rating on their cars, it is done on the flywheel.

Thats the entire point.

330 flywheel horsepower is about 288 RWHP. No boltons only GT will make 288 RWHP on anything close to a accurate dynojet.

Its just like their "575" RWHP pack for the cobras. They don't make that much, but it sounds good.

Like I said, if this is the same pack with the same price as the other guy was quoting (2k?)it's still a good deal, it just doesn't make anything close to 330 HP flywheel or rearwheel.

I can't believe anybody actually thought it would give them the advertised HP. Show me one single aftermarket part that gets the advertised gains... you can't.

yeah no way its pushing 330hp at the fly maybe 300ish. figure no more than 255-265 on a mustang dyno. i bet you could push 275 on a dynojett. but they are stupid.

well... i guess everyone should agree that 330 hp at the crank is better than 260 at the crank

Any supercharger usually does. They are about the only thing that is rated correctly

I clicked on the link on the first page, and the package costs $2219, plus about $100 S&H, so it comes out to about $2320. Is that really a good value for this package? It seems a lot more convenient than buying all the parts individually.. that alone makes it compelling to purchase. hmmm..

how much should I expect for installation? $600? it's really tempting..
