Default Granatelli-C.O.P.

Have you guys seen the Granatelli Motor Sports Coil On Plug (C.O.P) system. Part number 28-1697CP is for us 2V guys and comes with 8 new coils w/wire leads instead of the original spring type. It's supposed to give 15 h.p. N/A and 35 h.p. for forced induction and nitrous applications. I'll just let you guys read for yourselves: http://www.granatellimotorsports.com...connectors.htm. Also Summit Racing is going to start to carry these around 04-22-06 for $374.39, I think I'm going to give them a try. Anyone with firtshand experience with these please let us know.

P.S. I think when these very first came out they were priced from $500 to $600

I don't have them, but I like them. The spring deals on the factory COP's seem like a weak link in the system. Im willing to give them a try when I get some extra cash.

i dont see how the springs would be any worse than wire. It is essentially just a wire wound up... Maybe i'd have to see the aftermarket system, but i dont believe 15 h.p. NA is realistic.
