Different tips on exhaust ?

Default Different tips on exhaust ?

Kind of a stupid question but ive got the stock tips on right now but would dif tips make any dif of a sound or would it pretty much be the same ? Gracias

Pretty much the same sound, My exhaust is a full mandrel performance system, but I left the factory tips to keep it looking unsuspecting. Mufflers will change the sound as well as headers and mid pipe, but tips wont realy change sound quality.

Bigger = deeper. Smaller = raspier.
Longer = more tone. Shorter = less tone.
But in all actuality, it'll be close to the same if your exhaust is stock.

then someone tell me what 'dumping your exhuast' means,,

i thought it was jut making them turn down right after the muffler, is that any different than eliminating tips?

My exhaust isnt stock so would you be able notice a difference or is it not even worth it

just make sure you get stainless tips.... mine are 24" x 3" stainless tips angled not rolled and here is a clip...bare with me tho i recorded it with my cell phone so its not the greatest but sounds pretty good for just magnaflow catback....
