Anyone know how comp non pi cams would work with pi heads? im talkin abuot the 262,268,274 h series cams in an 02gt?

I have always wonderd this myself. Im fixing to order the 274h's for my non pi. I will tell you that when I called comp cams I asked them what would happen if the non pi cams were run on pi heads and here is exactly what they said. "Pi cams were designed for pi heads and non pi for non pi heads" Then I asked them why excatly it wouldnt work and they had no answer wich tells me that it would probly be fine, however a pi cam on a non pi head can cause problems if the lift is more than .540. I think if you were to run them on the pi heads they would just make more power than on a non pi but im just guessing.

yea I know they will, I was on another forum before and I was reading you can swap cams and intakes without swapping heads.

well lift isnt a problem-they're rated at .500/.500-and i know back in sept 04 issue of mmff, they tested all 6 comp cams in a 4.6 with i think patriot 4.6 heads-so they should work-im just wondering if anyone else has experience or knowledge about them...
