allright with that settled i am shooting for 400 rwhp, thats very streetable. kb? sinces it will be a built block work? i know i will lose some realiability but i will need to drive across country when i reup.

you can make 400 easily with stock heads and cams, just have a forged motor built and pop the KB on it. you'll actually make more than that unless you run very low boost and detune it to not make it. a stroker motor is not needed for that much power, if all you want is 400 just build a forged 4.6.

MPH was developing one, i do not know how it turned out. the stock gt block can only be stroked to a 302, an aluminum block is needed to go any more than that. a 302 pushrod old 5.0 block can also be stroked to 331.

I think thats correct. I know a 5.4 liter is a 331. As far as the 347 I thought he wanted an old 5.0(302) and not a 4.6(281). Like you said I think a 4.6 can get up to a 324(I think).

a 5.4 is a 330. VT does make a 324 stroker, but that's a 6,000 short block.

a set of manley h beams and cp pistons will work good. check out VTengines.com and DSS racing. they sell complete shortblocks, one of thier $3,000 blocks will work perfect for you.
