Default Can someone please explain the desire for 93 foxbody shocks

Just wondering what makes the 93 shocks so good to put in a lowered new edge, any explanations are azppreciated

The travel of the shock is better suited for lowered cars compared to the stock ones.

Any parts store, all depends on what brand you get...

EDIT: KYBs are $192 for 2 struts and 2 shocks at my local Advance Auto

OK, so would they be good for a car that is only getting dropped 3/4 of an inch in the back and 1 1/8 front??

I bought some NAPA brand Fox Body Shocks for my 2002. Like said above, much bettet travel, about 2" more. The ride is a lot better now. Not nearly as bouncy.

I just bought some Competition Engineering 3 way adjustable shocks for my car. They were $40 a piece so $80 bucks and I'm all set. I'm going a different route as I also ordered Eibach drag springs to go along with my upper and lower ca's and lakewood 90/10 struts and steeda subframe connectors. I'd check out the ones I mention though.

so if i were to get the pro-kit and installed fox body shocks would it be fine for a daily driver or just a strip car

can someone tell me why i am about to spend close to 550+ us dollars on the new tokico d-spec adjustable shocks? i think they are 7way adjustable..

im goin with a 2 inch drop. sportlinessss. and code and some knowledgable guys told me to go with those 93s..

should i really not?
