Instead of a T, how about removing the two hoses where they clamp to the engine bay wall and use an elbow fitting?

Are you guys talking about a fitting specified for automotive uses or something else?

Jason

ps - nice work there George!!

an elbow would work, just get one that can take high temps, and I'd reccomend walking into an auto parts store and asking for one. It's only a few bucks and getting it from an auto part store you are assured it's meant to be there.

No problem, hey if I can benefit more people than myself with this CD then it's an even better investment

Let me know how this turns out

I am having the same problem on my 1996 gt. Also check under the dash on the driver side. Thats where mine is leaking. Does the coolant in your radiator get real low after running the A.C.?

Not real low, it hasn't even set off the coolant sensor. I'll check out the driver side this evening when I get home from work.

What happens to the Heater Core? Does it just start to rust out and then get the leak?

Thanks for the help!!

something like that, it corrodes and stuff and usually wears from the inside out. Sometimes dust gets on it, then that dust attracts and holds water (as muddy stuff) and eventually it may rust it

Yep, and it seems to be a common problem with the 94-98 Gt's. [>:]

Well, let's just say it checked me out tonight on the way home. I came around a corner and accelerated and then my ankle was HOT as HELL!! [:@]

Thanks Ford. I appreciate the convenient air duct placement above my right foot!

Easy to say that it's the heater coil.

Thanks for all the help!
