For $145 it's not improved over stock. You CANNOT run nitrous on a converter like that, you're asking for trouble when making big #'s.

Spend the money and do it right the fisrt time.

The upgraded internals only increase the durability and shift firmness. You can spend what ever you want, it's your money, but there are things in this hobby that pretty much require you to spend more money to get decent results, this is one of them.

Expert converter people if you ask me, the fact is that a good converter can take up to a 1/2 second or more off your 1/4 mile time. That precison one you found is a rip off of thiers. Any of those three choices are a waist of money, they will either burn up or not stall at the proper speed (might be high, might be low). I am not going to give you any advice on them because they are all junk, and I don't want to associated with telling someone to put a junk part on thier car.

I can install one in a F body in about 5 hours, not sure on your car, but I would say no more than 6 hours. Usually shops charge by the hour but rates differ quite a bit.
