Default Rear window curtain on a vert

Has anyone ever installed a rear window curtain in a 94-98 vert. Mine is seperating from the window, and its not fixable and i have to replace the whole curtain. Well i got estimates and it will 500-600 for the part and the install....screw that. I found a curtain at mustangs unlimited for $175, now i'm going to install it myself. It staples in and then you bolt the top back as far as i understand.. Has anyone done this. Any advice??

The rear window and the material that it is attached to, is a seperate piece from the actual top itself, and if there is anything wrong with the window or the stitching, the whole thing has to be replaced.

I am going to chime in with....
"There is a reason upholstery shops are pricey."

If it was easy everyone would do it.

When is time to do the top on my 98 I am going to a guy an hour and a half away(same guy that did my mom's 66 gt) because of his reputation and the fact that I want my car done right.

I think you would be better off having someone who know what there are doing do it than messing it up yourself.

I have enough experience with covering seat and custom sub enclosures, that i'm pretty sure i won't MESS it up, i was just wondering if any else had any info on it, I'm sorry i can't pay a PROFESSIONAL 500-600 dollars like you can. Thanks
