Default having a problem with idle

I have been having a problem with it racing up to about 2.5k but not all the time. I changed my intake and it was fine for a while and now it's happening again. I am thinking that the confuser is confused so i am going to do a hard reset on it tonight. It's not a air leak from my intake but maybe my upper plenum is comming loose?

tighten everything up. Do you have a stock throttle body?

Check to see if your TB has a manual idle adjuster on it. (should be a screw on the front).

it is on the front but you know what I just thought of,,, it might be the part that is right on the front of the upper intake that has the wires on it. I have heard that those will mess up the idle and need to be cleaned. what do you think?

Well I feel stupid, I installed my JLT and at the same time in installed a filter that will take the oil out of the air from the PCV valves and the hose on that was pushing down on the gas cable causing the idle to race.
