Windage Tray?
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv8mor.htm
Anybody have one of these? Recommended, Not recommended? For the price I figure can't go wrong, plus I was gonna have the tranny flushed at 10k miles and fill it with synthetic. Any input?

RE: Windage Tray?
Unless you have the engine out it's not worth it.If you do have the engine out they would be worth a few HP at high RPM's.
They have used oil scrapers in high performance H-D's for awhile. They work by cleaning the excess oil off the flywheels so it doesn't get turned into vapor by the crank and to limit the amount of oil that gets flung up onto the cylinder walls, creating unnecessary drag. All this is happening at above 6000 RPM though. We even polish the insides of the engine case to let the oil run to the scavenge pump faster.

actually just drop the k-member and have the engine and trans held up by a 2x4 lol. then swap it. its somewhat worth it. it must work engines since the 70's have used them and made power. its some work for nooobs.
