im with ya on that one. no such a greater feeling then doing it yourself. plus next time you kno what your doing, instead of just whiping out the ole checkbook

it depends on what i am doing, if it is something simple like plugs or oil its a 1, 2, 3 job. but something more complex it is a pain in the ***.

Usually the first time I do something it takes me a lot longer than it probably should. It took me probably 2 hours to put in my tri-ax shifter but thats only because I had never done it before and wanted it to be perfect. I could get it done in substantially less time now, and thats the way you'll be too. Just make sure you take your time and do it right the first time cuz you don't wanna be tearing things apart again to fix something you missed the first time through.
