Handheld Tuner and Dyno tune question
If I purchase a hand held tuner for say turning off the 02 sensors and calibrating the speedo, does that mean that if in the very near future I get a supercharger and get a dyno tune, that my handheld tuner is useless? Or can a dyno tune incorporate the handheld tuner somehow? ANdif so is there a specfic one I should buy for this reason...Thank you...

They can dump a custom tune into your handheld at your shop, or if you buy the cable (it is cheap) they can email it to you and you can do it yourself.

So if I get a predator, later I will need to find a dyno shop that uses predator, and same for the SCT? Which is more commonly used at dyno shops? Keep in mind I am in Southern CA

so does that make the tune cheaper? because if not wouldnt it be best to take tune off the car after you get all your mods and get a dyno then sell the tuner? pretty much just use the tuner for the small stuff till you finish and then upgrade to a dyno tune and make some money back off your handheld?

Im pretty sure you won't be able to sell your tuner. Once you use the tuner on your car it locks itself on to your car. The only other thing there good for is running diagnostics on a friends car. At least for the predator, but the sct tuner may be different?
