Default Fattest tire on stock GT wheel

im wondering if i could possible fit 295s on the back of my 03 GT with the stock Bullit wheels. i currently have 275/40/17 but they are bald. also, how big can the front be without rubbing?

I have the same question about my rims. I have the 03 Cobra rims and i believe there a 17x9.

on my 18x9 front cobra rims I have 245/40, they rub when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.

Depends on the recommendations of the tire manufacturer. Some oversized tires will hold a bead on a smaller rim but others definitely require wider rims. Here are a few spec charts from popular mfg on their recommendations. Remember, just because it will fit, doesn't mean you should run the combo.....it just plain isn't safe!

you can fit 275 on stock rims, up to 315s on an aftermarket in the rear
