Awesome article. I'll definately have to check that out AFTER I get my exhaust/4.10's/tb and other associated intake work done. Should make for an interesting ride lol.

How much is that torque converter? And would that be a good stall 3000? And how much does it usually cost to get it installed?

RE: Have a 4R70W/AODE? Read!
Its $900 something on www.tciauto.com
Its $720ish on www.summitracing.com for the TCI StreetFighter ------------------------------------------------------ Precision Industries also sells a converter (thx JD) , called the Stallion. "for an 01 Mustang with bolt-on's I would suggest around a 2600 to 2800 rpm stall speed." (this info coming from Jack with Precision Industries) The converter sells for $734.58 and comes with a 2 year warranty. Precision Industries 800-649-7866 So I'm guessing 3000+ would be recommended if your doing a camswap or have cams. |

I'm most likely going with Edge Racing's 3000-3200 www.edgeracingconverters.com
$565 you decide stall (2000-6500) I'm doing VT stg 1/2 cams, it should benefit. |
