It should fit onto the upper intake- But....there is an *** ton of parts you will have to get to make it work- all the stuff for alternator relocation, cooling lines, belt system- in the end it is quite the PITA.

Someone needs to do this and let us all know how it goes... I think everyone with an 01 and back cobra has asked. lol.
From what I gathered its easier on the 99/01 then the 98 back due to different heads and a different setup (I.E. Coilpacks and wires on the 98 back, etc).
