Default Cobra supercharger on 2V

Does anyone know if you can put a cobra supercharger on a 2V GT motor. I am just wondering because I was thinking about looking into buying a used one. WOuld itbolt up to the 2V intake, or do you need a the Cobra intake, and I am guessing the cobra intake doesn't bolt right up to the 2V heads. I am asking beacues I am prety sure you can get a Kenny Bell 2.2 L or 1.7L supercharger for either the GT or Cobra, so I guess that if the KB works on either motor then the Cobra supercharger would work on either motor. Please, any input would be great.

Needs too much custom work.... it would be cheaper probably to get a kit made already for your car.

Ya, just go with a kit. It will prolly save you cash and greif in the long run. I believe the KB kits give you more hp than the Eaton supercharger that is in the Cobra.

What kind of custom work. If I bolt it on, with all the goods included, egr valve, pulley, etc..., and I get a belt that is long enough to fit on my belt assembly, and I get bigger fuel injectors, and a custom tune from somewhere, then what else is involved. I can pick up a used cobra supercharger for 450$ shipped. Kit for new SC, at least $3500. In all honesty, what kind of work would be involved? Give all the input you have.

It's gonna cost too much money. Not worth it.

The problem is that it doesnt just bolt right up. The intercooler under the supercharger ports are different. A custom 'intake manifold' for a lack of better word would have to be fabricated that goes from the intercooler/supercharger to all 8 engine ports.

for 450 you dont even get the intake manifold, all you get is the head unit am i right? you could get a vortech kit for under 4 grand, complete. even if you had a cobra, youd still need the intake manifold (700$) the intercooler (600$) the pump-injectors etc etc itll all add up. believe me if there were a cheap and easy way to get blown, heh, we would all be over it. it sucks man, i spent almost 5 grand to get supercharged (even though the kit was only about 4, **** happens).
