Manual Trans Fluid
I am going to get Royal Purple or Redline Synethic Fluid for this weekend when I change out my tranny fluid. Just wondering what weight (viscosity) I should use. I am sure I could look through my manual, but just wondering if any og you guys know off the top of your head. Also, I know everyone around here seems to be in love with all Royal Purple fluids, but whta do your guys think of Redline Products and Fluids. ALso, maybe you guys could tell me what type of fluid to put in the differential, I guess I might as well change that this weekend also.

RE: Manual Trans Fluid
the trans should take dexron III auto tranny fluid, whatever brand and type just make sure it's dexron III auto fluid
for the diff I believe you need to run gear oil, 80/90 weight and there is an additive you need for the LSD

RE: Manual Trans Fluid
I like Mobile One Synth,ATF. In my 96 i have had 2 t-45's and that is all i have ever used. That car has had almost 10 hard years on it and i believe its worth it.
When i replaced the tranny there really wasnt anything wrong with it. I got a new one out of a 99 cobra to replace it with.
