I have done a lot of business with both rpmoutlet.com and mustangtuning.com and both have had excellent service and I would recommend both of them.

I have the motive bearing kit and FRPP gears. Haven't a problem with either, and I have ordered from both rpmoutlet and mustangtuning multiple times. I have gotten nothing but good service from both retailers. Just find a reputable shop for the install. The reason I opted for the FRPP gears was that all 3 shops I went to said that Richmond gears, Pro 5.0 gears and **I can't remember the onther brand** all whine. One shop told me he would NOT install Richmond gears. My mechanic told me that with his experience on gear swaps, which he had plenty, that the FRPP's required the least amount of shimming and he had never had a FRPP ring and pinion set whine on him. So, that's what I got. I also got my gears on sle for $139.99 so I was happy

yep thats called a load of ****.....if an installer EVER tells you that after an install of BRAND NEW GEARS its b/c he didnt install them correctly.... sure a ****ty brand could START whinning after use due to ****ty quality but guess what man if its whinning when you leave the shop its the installer not the product unless they are used gears.... and as for some shops not installing MOTIVE its because they dont carry the brand....its same as when you order from certain places and they only offer UPS as shipping does that mean UPS is better then FEDEX? believe what you want guys but untill you either have had MOTIVES AND FRPP or had MOTIVES that whine dont post rumours it doesnt get anyone anywhere....post FACTS and the FACT is i havent seen a post yet that someone with MOTIVE gears complained about them have you? if you have plz link it!!!!! if not then dont say motive sucks just say "im happy with my frpp" and ill say "im happy with both frpp and motive, b/c ive had BOTH"

read end girdles strenghten up the rear end by applying pressure on the bearing caps- thus reinforcing them under heavy load. It is a worthwhile mod to help protect your mustang's rear end...now if you want to fork out the 100something bucks for it is up to you.

edit: and some also allow you to put in more fluid (normally 1/2 quart) into the rear end, thus reducing operating temperatures and hypothetically extending the life of the gears, and other components.
