Go for it! I've got a couple of friends that swapped them at home around here.....Just be careful, gentle, and take your time.

If you have the tools you can do the installation just fine yourself, but only if you have the tools. for instance, do you have a press, dial micrometer, accurate inch-pound TQ wrench, etc.? If so go for it.
