Mil Eliminators (depending on the brand) Do either of two things: Work or Fail.

Steeda MIL's suck.
My buddy just went through a set of BBK's... TWICE. Both sets failed. Now he has a brand I've never heard of (Casper I think) and has had no problems...

no that's not correct. I have the Bassani 2 cat X pipe and had to put them on my two back O2's to get rid of the light.

strange, i know people who havent had that problem. but i also know people who put a catted pipe in and the O2's burned out shortly afterwards, so they just replaced them. if your cats are emissions legal you should be fine, unless they have high miles. most of the high mielage x pipe installs i see end up throwing the light.

I ended up getting some MILs off the eBay vendor I got my X-pipe through. I paid $30 I believe.

I ended up getting like what looked like $1.50 worth of stuff I could have gotten at Radio Shack. They were the splice-in kind (obviously). I have not been using my XTC tune, and so far 8-months they have worked flawlessly.

I really should take one off and remove the miles of electrical tape and wire-ties I used to secure it and see what makes it tick.

Make an Electrical diagram…

It looked like maybe 2 resistors and maybe a capacitor too me…

$1.50 MIL's for everyone.

oh, I found instructions.

looks like you need:

1-M Ohm Resistor
1-uF Capacitor

if you have a tuner you should be able to shut them off.
