odd noise from rear end?
i have a 99 GT just got done doing the rear brakes, replaces calipers, rotors and pads. I had a swooshing noise before doing this, and i thought that replacing all that would take care of it. any ideas what it could possibly be? also i'm having the gears done soon, could it be the bearings or something else in the rear end. should i just buy a new rear end with the gears in it. any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you say its do ing a swooshing noise what do you mean by that. Is it making a noise when your hitting a bump or what? If it makes a noise on the bump there is a recall on the spindels from the ford dealer for 99s.
