50% of the function of the CAI is to smooth and streamline airflow into the plenum. Turbulance, before or after the MAF is bad. Proven time and again. That's why the CAI tubes are smooth on the inside and as straight as possible.

Just because a respected company sells it, does not mean that is works. They are in business to make money like every other company out there. How many times have we read an advertisement promising gains of XX hp, only to find out that the part was added to an already modded car, and not a stock version?

There is more science backing spacers than the turbonator/tornado. If you absolutely have to buy something, then buy the spacer. At least you won't risk it breaking and getting sucked into the intake.

I love how people say so much bad sh** about turbonator and they really dont know anything about it... A guy on here did a dyno run without it and with it he picked up 3hp.
a guy on here did a run with a lightly modded v6 stang and got 230 rwhp, doesn't prove a damn thing.

If anything a spacer would give you more torque, beacuse it's like having longer runners, not horsepower... I would never buy one, waste of money IMO....

Hey there buddy... are you aware that HP is a direct result of TQ...
HP = (TQ x RPM) / 5252

Just thought I should tell you.

2hp for $70... Not worth it at all... Spend your money on something decent... If it sounds too good to be true it usually is...

I've got an 02 Mustang GT w/ 75mm Accufab TB & Plenum, and K&N CA intake, but I'm wondering if adding a TB spacer would give me any gains. Also, does anybody know if those damn Tornado thing-a-majigs that you stick in the intake tube do anything? Thanks

~Alf

^^^ The TB spacer will not work with a 75mm TB as it is smaller in inside Dia. which will not allow you to go WOT. They are designed to be used with a stock or 70mm TB.
