Default magnaflow x and lowering...

anyone who has a magnaflow catted x drop their car? I was thinking about dropping mine apprx. 2 inches but Im afraid the cats will drag on everything. The x pipe hangs low on my car...anyone else with this issue? I dont see too many speed bumps where I drive now, but if I do encounter any i dont want to f up my car...perhaps its time for an o/r h..

I've got Eibach Pro-Kit with front lower isolators removed and I dont scrape if I go really slow over speed bumps, but if i go to fast i will barely scrape it.

front lower isolators removed? does that drop the front a bit more? I was originally looking at the pro kit but im afraid its not going to give me the look I want. I wont ask about looks cause it depends on the person, so what do you think think of the performance? Im looking to greatly improve the handling too.

so by removing the front isolators it drops the front a bit more and leaves the rear the same? Giving it a different stance? cause otherwise id be better off just getting the sportline kit right? not to mention the sportlines are cheaper...

I have LT's and they would line up right were my cats would be. I have a 2' drop.

You will have no issues driving whatsoever, but speed bumps do cause a problem for me. Im sure I could figure it out, but Ive tried twice and I don't feel like scratching the headers, so I just avoid the speed bumps at school. Other than that, you obviously won't come across speed bumps in the road so you will be fine.

I have an O/R x and H&R sport springs (nearly a 2" drop) and I onlyhit one speed bump. It's at my GF's apartment complex and it is HUGE! Other than that, if I go slowly I don't scrape on anything.

What do the isolators do? Does removing them hurt performance in any way?
