time for my gears.. + clutch question

RE: time for my gears.. + clutch question
I was always happy with my 3.73s when I was N/A. I am glad I do not have any more gear for the street. I cannot imagine a 4.10 in the car, I don't think it would ever catch traction in 2nd.
The difference is not that massive though. All the 3.73 vs 4.10 debates are pointless when you feel the difference between the two, its just not that much.

for the kit, use "stangnet" code and will save yourself 5%. There is a 6% off too, but dont remember it. But be sure to get the kit.. as long as the mechanic is "in your rear" you might as well have them rebuild it (very cheap insurance-not much more). Good luck

Everyone would be surprised with the difference you'd feel between a 3.73 and 4.10 car, I've ridden in both. I've even gone from 4.10 to 4.30 and the difference was WELL worth it.
If you are going to be using drag radials at the track, 4.10's are going to be your best gear. If you are just going to be fooling around on the street, 4.10's are the way to go...still.
