Not as bad as a guy next door to me at my office. There is a vinyl shop, and I seen a 02 yellow GT getting "GT350 Cobra" with cobra emblem and stripes... Asked him what he has done, told me his wife bought him the car, he put in a K&N and looking at Turbonator and Tornado kits on ebay. I asked him how much HP you puttin down dude? He said around 380. I said damn, wanna race? Said sure, but never shown up after 5pm

Don't get me wrong cuz I know those 3 valves have potential. Doug over at Sutton told me that those cars can put down I think it was 475 HP with a Vortech cooler, but don't the 05-06 have the same rods and pistons we have in our cars. They said they were still afraid to tune those cars with a stock bottom end at 450 HP. A time bomb he called it. I was told that one guy wanted them to leave the car tuned with the 475, missed a gear at the strip and threw 2 rods through the block and coolent all the way back through the blower. He said it was a mess. Sutton Ford tuned my car and I believe they are running mid 9's with their 3 valve but that sucker is not streetable or even close. LOL

I hate jackasses like that. I saw a guy in the parking lot when I was at a mall. I said nice car and he said he can't be beat by anything. It was a 92 lx 5.0. I asked him to let me check it out. He had a 5 lug conversion w/ the rear discs and a catback. Oh, and it was painted 350Z orange. No intake, no gears, no heads, no headers and he couldn't be beat. I held back my laughter and kept listening. The more I agreed with him, the more bullshat he told me, best part is, his wife was with him and would agree with everything he said. By the time we finished our conversation, he had 4 jetskis, is getting viper, owns his and his parents house and used to be a pro circuit moto-cross racer sponsored by kawaski or something and he can get all the best weed, coke or pills. I went and got in my cobra, not telling him what i had. Just let him bask in his BS. I see his wife about once a week when I go to stock up on Arizona green teas at Walgreens. She's a cashier on the graveyard shift.
