Now that is extremly funny. Ya (im only 16) kid at my school has 3 mustangs. All of them his daddy bought for him and are all fox bodies. One of them is a "fakeleen" aka saleen. All it has is lowering springs,cai, and cobra intake and cobra heads. He thinks its pushing around 360rwhp. I just laugh. At least I bought my own car.....

Very cool. I bought my own first car and have ever since. I had a lot of friends whos parents bought them cars, they trashed them. My first car was a Monte Carlo Laundau, nothing fancy but had a killer back seat, after that I had a supra then a vert GT. All those before I went in the Army after HS. I am the worse when I run into BS'ers. I get them rambling on and on. Once I was at a car show and had a dude telling all kinds of stories. Somewhere in there he knew Chuck Norris and Dale Earnhart. Oh and his car went from 300 HP and trailer queen to 500HP and a daily driver. Oh yeah, he was a firefighter in from NY and was involved in the twin towers. Give people the spot light, they will dance for ya.

I meet dumb people like that all the time. i.e:

I met this guy with chrome 17in cobra r's with nexen tires. I said nice rims. He said: "I got an awesome deal for them." "I only paid $1750 WITH tires." I'm like jeez...I only paid $1160 for my 18in chrome y2k cobra r's WITH tires. He says(and I quote): "Oh yea...chrome 17's cost more than chrome 18's, because people want them more."

I just walked away. All you can do in a situation like that.

I met someone who just picked up a SN95, I saw him out one night and told him it was a nice looking car and sounded great. Well conversation eventually ended up on hp and mods and he proceeded to tell me how he had a DOHC Cobra engine. Anyways, never popped his hood or anything. Told he he figured he had around 330rwhp and said he would probably run low 12's at the track. I could tell right away he had no idea wtf he was talking about.

So, ended up at the track with him one afternoon and watched him run 14.2-14.5 all day. He had his hood up and I said hey, I thought you said you have a DOHC 4.6? He goes "I do?" I was like uhh no you don't, that's a SOHC engine, DOHC valve covers are twice the width. Then it turned into "Well that's what the guy told me when I bought it from him". Then eventually it turned into yeah it's a SOHC but he's getting a supercharger, then it turned into 2 years later it's still a N/A 2v with the same mods from when he bought it. Goofy kid

Its funny how people who like to bs all of this...think were actually gullable enough to believe them! I had a customer at my job tonight (got in a convo,asked me about my stang). He saying how he got to drive with carroll shelby in one of the unique performance fastbacks. And just kept pulling stuff out from everywhere. Im just like cool..... People frustrate me so much when they talk so much bs. O yea then when I saw him leave he was driving a rusted down s-10....lol

Well if gears equal HP these days, i'm just going to get a 9.5" rear end and ditch the 8.8" rear end. Then i'm going to put in some 4.90 gears and have 490RWHP. Then you people will know whats up...... :-P

Got one for you guys.... Dr. in a s2000 comes onto the on ramp as I'm on the highway. Top down and a hott little number next to him. Looks at me and smiles and puts it to the floor. I just drive normal at about 55. He slows down, and I get up next to him. He's all pumped and like that's 4 cylinders compared to your v8! And laughs and carries on. So I said lets get it then....Little does he know we slow down to about 40 and I go on 3, honked the horn 3 times let him take off, slap it in 2nd and dump it, catch 3rd and proceed to fly by him. Come into town after I'm about 10 car lengths infront of him and pull up at the light. Awww, poor little guy didn't want to look at me. I look at his g/f and say tell your grandpa that's why he needs a v8. And his face turns bright red and is mad as hell. So, I didn't feel satisfied, so I proceeded to burn through 1st and 2nd when the light dropped (not to race, just to smoke him out a little) Then this dumb bastard says he's gonna report me to the cops at the next light. I said you gonna tell em you started a street race and that you got beat and finally got off of it 10 car lenghts behind me at about 100mph? Do a cocky little laugh and drive off nice and slow, lettin the pipes roar. Oh and P.S. I never run my car hard, only if some one dumb needs to be put in their place!

You may want to go a little bigger in case you decide to throw a turbonator in later...
