Default Motor rebuild and reset odometer

Anyone know what must be done in order to reset the odometer? I plan on having my motor rebuilt (bored and stroked at the same time) and would love to reset the motor :-p

Reset it to zero? You cant. Why would you want to reset it anyway?

The odo isn't just an engine meter it's a "whole car" meter.. maybe if your rebuilt the entire car you could consider starting the odo @ 000000 lol

Any type of tampering with the odometer is very illegal. Just because it's a new motor does not mean that the car is new.

When you go for inspection and they see your odo is rolled back, it will show up on a carfax and like JD said, it's illegal.
