3.55 or 3.73 & opinions
I have an 04 Gt w/ 5 speed that is a daily driver......
SP(Houston) will be doing all the work..... (soon) Should i go with the 3.55 or 3.73, I don't want to go any higher. (next couple of months) LT's & a tune S/C - Need your opinions on the most reliable S/C |

Give me your money instead if you plan on throwing it away on 3.55's.
You need to go with 3.73's or 4.10's with a supercharger. You are going to have to compensate for all the extra HP anyways (with tires), so why not go 4.10 and get the most bang for your buck? |

4.10's, bearing kits, vortech supercharger.
edit: 3.55 wouldn't be enough of a change from the stock 3.27 to really feel a difference... And from someone who has 3.73's.. Get the 4.10's... |

im starting to thing 410s are better after reviewing multiple gear rpm calculators..
410s pretty much jump like 1000rpms higher then stock and like 400-600 rpms over 373s.. so its better to just get the 410s i guess. im goin to be orderin mine soon.. does it affect gas mileage? i havnt asked personally.. |

if you ask everybody here, no the gas mileage will only change 2-3 mpg. Your car will run better, smoother, and just be gods gift to mustangs. Take it for whats it worth.

yea i like my 3.37's if didnt do probably 75% highway driving id go w/4.10's 3.90's might be just right but you will feel a difference w/3.73's i went from a 9.4 to a 8.9 1/8th mile w/just gears and a catback but i think i learned to drive a little better too

what do you guys with your 373s think? they are perfect or youd rather step up to 410s.
when people say you have no 1st gear with 410s that means its just really short right? i can still cruise slowly with 410s and be at a decent RPM correct? |

I have 4.10's in my 90 and getting 3.73's in my 95 gt. I must be one of the wierd ones that wants the "dredded" 3.73's. For my dads stang, hes got 4.30's- but will be at the track quite a bit. Why stop at 4.10's? Why not go 4.30's. Gas mileage and top end isnt an issue, right? Its only a couple hundred rpms higher than the 4.10s. Pretty soon here that actual debate will probaly be talked about- 4.10's vs 4.30's, which to go with. So, i must be one of the idiots your talking about because Im getting 3.73's. I can live with that :) |

what the hell? 3.55 i didnt even know that was a choice. i wouldnt even think about having those. atlease get 3.73 at the least let alone 4.10's. yea sirously, just from this site we could prob right a f'in book on why you should get 4.10's or anything higher for gears. they should make the search button yellow or somthing.
