Default reccomendations on a clutch cable

hello all~
Well upon putting everything back together, I discover my self adjuster on the clutch is maxed out, but it still pulls the clutch away from the flywheel enough to be O.K. But this means a new cable is in order, as in this is probably the original with 111000 on it...

I have a ford racing king cobra clutch, what kind of cable would you guys reccomend? I have about $100 saved up right now and would that be enough?

Let me know what you guys did, it is still O.K. right now but it feel like it stretches a bit before it pulls the clutch, so it's next on my list.

really... because I saw one by BBK that came with a metal auto adjuster for $100, would that be better or worse than factory?

well I saw that my post got kicked back. So basically should I spend the $80 and go down to ford and get an OEM clutch cable, or is there a better aftermarket one available, possibly in a kit?

okay SOHCtimes2... you have me very interested in both of those. Would you say steeda is as good as OEM?

I am leaning towards that kit. I have $100 saved up for whatever on my car and since it NEEDS this, I figure why not invest in it since the stock one is almost ready to go.

How tough is it to install? Is there any special procedures I should know or is it an un bolt, bolt up and tighten type deal? (aside from routing the cable)

Thank you very much!

George

The cable I am very happy with. The firewall adjuster....not so much. I think my firewall adjuster has been loosening up and I have to re-adjust it sometimes. The cable is good though.
