I just hit 100,000 miles and want to know should i still be thinking about supercharging or should i just do bolt-on's? My car runs great and everything but i just dont know if this is still a good idea.

Im just kinda at that point to where im thinking maybe i should just do full bolt ons and just wait and get a 03/04 cobra next that is already supercharged, since by the time i finish paying for this car which is a 99 GT btw my credit score would have gone up since this is my first car financed in my name, and i will prolly qualify for a cobra.

100,000 miles???? Shes just getting broke in real good. Its up to you on the maybe getting a cobra or not, but i wouldnt be nervous at all about modding a car with alot of miles on it. My 96 prob. has somewhere close to 150,000 on it and i was still putting bolt on after i hit 100,000. ( Knock on wood) She still hasnt left me stranded.

miles doesn't mean bad. do a compression test... how many owners have there been, and has it been maintained. My 97 has 110800 on it and the engine runs like a champ with good compression. Not to say I will supercharge it, mainly because I can't afford it.

exactly. That's why I'm not risking my engine. Should I ever get a blower, you'd better believe it's getting a forged block.

I figure why get rid of or destroy the current engine, I'll run it into the ground first. I will probably end up buying a cobra that comes blown tho, who knows.
