Default What type of frame is the mustang?

Alright asking this question might be stupid but i have to ask it because my buddy with a SS camaro asked me. is the GT a uni-body frame? does that make any since. we where talking about suspension and he said that i sould do sub frame connectors before CA's if i had a uni-body frame.

Wow this question will probably get stupid reply's but i had to ask.. so any help will be good

yep you have a unibody frame. My dad bought me a video showing the 94-95 mustangs being built (yours is the same process just differen't shapes) and yeah it's a unibody.

Pretty cool vid

pretty much, the main portions of your frame are one and the same piece as the main components of your body. They stamp them all separately and are all welded together as one big piece.

Your front suspension parts and body parts are added later
