Default signs of a fried ecu?

just curious , trying to figure this out. if the ecu is out, i heard your car will crank but not star..rather just stutter lik its gonna. also if my ecu were fried, the xcal2 would tell me right?

if your ecu is fried you'd have a multitude of problems. You know a no start condition can come from a problem in the camshaft position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor. Don't rule those out
