found out what I'm doing...
a guy told me what to do next with my 04 stang, he works for jack roush so I think he knows what he's talking about but they were things that I don't hear alot about on the forums
he said my check engine light was robbing me of ponies and the first thing I should get is the O2 sensor eliminators (because of the cat's being gone) and then the next thing I should do is get the X-pipe that bypasses all 4 of the catylytic converters up front?? ( I have no idea what pipe this is and help wouuld be appretiated with a link) and then I should get the stock computer tuned because the my exhaust setup will be so free flowing that I will lose a ton of backpressure and since I'm getting tuned I should do 4.10's with the
X-pipe/// after all of that he claims I should do about mid 13's... I was skeptical but with my times with the check engine light on and regular eagles I have no reason to doubt it

RE: found out what I'm doing...
ORIGINAL: M1ke
pretty much means get an off road x pipe (the one with no cats or resonators, just pipe) and MIL eliminators and a tune. a handheld tuner get also get rid of the cel

ALL of the things you mentioned are CONSTANTLY talked about on here....lol
"Bypass cats" = Off-Road mid-pipe
"CEL" = Check Engline Light, used MIL's to get rid of it or a handheld tuner
You DO NOT need a tune after installing exhaust, although a dyno pull to see you a/f would be a good idea.
4.10's can be compensated for with the tuner, and a re a good mod, but are by no means necessary.
I have a buddy who works for H&K and knows squat about guns, so I would take it with a grain of salt.
Oh, and the burnt exhaust gasses get re-ciculated into your INTAKE, not your gas tank
Oh, and your magnaflow magnapack exhaust is a catback...it has nothing to do with your catalytic converters, so you can take that part out of your sig.

RE: found out what I'm doing...
remember you don't need both mil's and a tuner. the mil's don't work anyway. i used mine for 3 days and took them off and since then my cel hasn't came back on, and i didn't turn it off with the tuner.
