I have a good amount of experience with workin on cars. Im always up for a challenge. I live in a crappy town with no good shops. So I really dont wanna pay for someone to F it all up. If its anyone messing it up its going to be me? But is it really that big of a pita?

is there a site with a good FRPP(or any other brand with a good rep) 4.10+master bearing+Some kind of tune to fix the speedo package for a reasonable price...

mustangtuning.com has a ok one with FRPP kit but motive bearings and no tuner included....... are motive bearings okay? or should I stay away from those too. one last question, Diablo tuner fixes speedo right?

The rear axle does not have to come off.... Just the differential cover...
But, unless you have all the necessary tools, such as a press and the tool to check backlash and pinon depth, then I suggest getting it done at a shop... If you get it back and there is something wrong, they should fix it for you no problem.. .

Need a press and dial indicator at the very least... I don't believe a TUNER can recalibrate the speedo for your car. To the best of my knowledge you need to buy the speedo gear.

motive gears are fine.....i have them and i have no whine at all.

also the installation must be done pretty much perfect to avoid whine....so this might be one better left to the pros......but it is something that you can do if you really want to.
