yeah.... thats what u get for listening to parents...... my bro threw a rod or something in his 99 cobra. my dad sent him to a dealer and they didnt even diagnose the problem (thats why i said "or something") they just told him he needed a new motor and charged him 6k for it. you can totally find a brand new 4v 4.6 for about 2500 (i looked and found some on the internet wholesale). and the bumper thing, he found a new bumper for 350 for his car after he hit the wall at the track (bad luck with cars, this kid.... [:@]) and then had it painted at a private shop for another 350. 1000 is way too much to begin with, especially if the paint is cracking already! [sm=rant.gif] ok.... I just realized I was getting angry for you. but I hate ford dealerships. they tried to screw me over when I went to buy my car, but i knew a guy at a connected dealer that had the car shipped over and I bought it from him (screw u cedar rapids Junge ford!) I swear, next time I go to buy a car im going to wait until a chevy dealership ends up with a used mustang on their lot.

hmm thanks for the story, now I know. Where can you find a Cobra motor for 2500 though?????

i cant remember, but it was online somewhere. 26xx actually I believe, but still, 6k is ridiculous.
