That's the install document from AutoMeter -- and it's going to be very vague. There are MULTIPLE places to tap into power, and the part on the PCM is pretty specific. (there should be one connection for each side - driver and passenger o2) I would pick up a repair manual for a point of reference to make sure you hit the right connections, either from Ford or from Haynes.

Wire the signal wire down under the car (where your shifter meets the tranny is a good place to slide the wire through) and splice into your signal wire on your o2 sensor. That's how mine was done and it works perfect...

You can do it that way but its so much more simple to wire it to the wiring harness on the PCM
