Default Predator tuner-Fan?

Since I installed my predator tuner, i`ve noticed my cooling fan runs more than it ever did before and its really not that warm here. Temps have been between 60 and 75. I only installed the performance tune and nothing else. Anyone else with a predator notice this? What do you guys think I should do? Leave it alone or make an adjustment? Any info would be great.

I had a hypertech tuner that did the same thing.

Because on most tunes they set your fans to turn on at a cooler temp sooooo......this means that they will run longer for any given temp over that specified temp.

ie- If the factory set them to turn on at 190 for a stock engine they would turn on at 190 and for however long it takes for the engine to cool down below that.

If the predator tune sets them to turn on at, say, 180 then of course they will run longer because the engine still wants to run at the hotter temp due to thermostat and other stock settings.

You can get a lower temp thermostat like a 180 or a 160 and the engine will run cooler. All these things working in concert will allow your engine to run cooler and produce more power.

Does anyone know the temp setting that the tunner puts in. I would like to change the t-stat to what the temp setting is at, would make cooling easier.
