Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows how much boost is needed to achive 500, 600 HP. I know my stock bottom end wont take that much but I'm just interested. If I do it I will drop in a forged bottom end. I run the 3.33 making 10-11lbs pulley with aftercooler and make 400HP. What size pulley would be needed to make the reqired boost for 500 and 600 HP.

If I had to guess I would say 15lbs for 500hp and 20lbs for 600hp.

500,600... that car would run what, less than a second in the 1/4? assuming you could get traction?

I'm happy with my 215 crank horse... wait with flowmaster mufflers, that puts me at about 217 crank horsepower. Which makes absolutely no difference at the wheels, but it sounds damned good in the process.

20 psi is pushin a lot. i just saw a mach 1 blow his eng pushin only 18 psi. 20 psi on a stock block is insane. you might as well start saving for the new eng.
