Default 4.6 displacement

what kind of CI's can you get from a factory 4.6 block?
are the blocks made in different factories capable of different bore or stroke limitations?

the iron blocks aren't any good past 302 cubes, CHP makes a 310 i believe based on the cast iron GT block but i dont like it.

the aluminum cobra/mach 1 blocks are good for more, VT makes 302, 304, 324 cubic inch strokers, and MPH was supposed to be working on a 331, but i dont know how it turned out.

you cant bore the iron block out to 302 either. yo uhave to sleeve an aluminum block to reach that displacement from a bore alone

why would you want to bore it so much anyways? VT's big bore engines are aluminum based and displace 304, if your going to bore it more than just enough to recondition the cylinders, why not just stroke it too?
