Default Are headers worth it?

My mods right now are....

3.73s
Slp LM1
Eibach Sportlines
Tokico Shocks
U/L CA's

I am about to purchase an o/r x pipe, and very soon a vortech aftercooled kit. Should I even think about getting headers. I have talked to 2 or 3 shops around here (Southern CA) and they have all pretty much said that headers will gain you probably at most like 15 horses on SUPERCHARGED applications. This being longtubes, which I cannot get. So shorty's will be even less. Should I just eff the headers? And I don't want to push my engne too much over 400 if at all, since I don't want problems in the too near future. Will not getting headers cause a "bottle neck" effect in my exaust system, as I've read on here, and is that a problem? Any and all help would be appreciated...

get headers. no matter what anybody says. aftermarket headers will be SO much better than the manifolds. It is even more critical with supercharged cars that you get the exhaust gas out as fast as you can. (thats why supercharger cams have a bigger exhaust duration than intake duration) LT would be optimal but since you wont be getting those. Mid lengths would be your best bet.

Shorties or mid-lengths would be fine and give you a good return for the money. Even the FRPP shorties are much better than stock. Having a supercharger, midpipe and cat-back without headers is like getting a girl naked in bed and then jerking off. Sure, you feel good, but it's just not the same.

Anyway, ceramic coatings are a must if you do buy them.

Why "can't" you get LT's? I could understand if u dont want them for the insane labor costs but you can get them, unless I'm missing something.

I won't pass emissions in CA. I am getting an o/r x but I will just swap back my stock H when emissions rolls around. But there is no way I can do that with headers....So everyone is saying yes to headers? Also how much should I expect to pay for install...I was quoted at $450 to install shorties...
