SOHCtimes2, that is the first mustang I have heard via soundclip, and in person with an x pipe and flowmasters that does not sound raspy. Every other stang I've heard with that set up has that raspy sound to it, idk.

no man, some where, some weren't..your sounds nice and deep, although i think some stingers or packs or lm2's would make it sound even more amazing. do you have a full catback or just the weld ins? maybe that's the difference? most of the ones i've heard had jsut weld ins, although some had full catback too...ahhhhh idk

I have full catback. I am actually going to switch to stingers tho...way later down the road. Like after I am done with all my other mods, including supercharger kit and transmission. When I have nothing left to do Ill change the exhaust just to keep things fun. lol

Well based on what I have read from all of you so far, I wont be able to get rid of the raspy sound until I spend the cash and installed catted or go full blown with headers, exhaust and new mufflers. Sounds like I will have to get used to "RASPY". Its all good.

Hey just an update for all of ya that read this thread......

Saturday morning I had my muffler guy install the MIL Eliminators and man was I suprised with the results! The "raspy" sound got much cleaner but stayed loud! I didnt think the "check engine" light would turn off without any system resets but it did and the stinky fumes "almost" went away!!! I guess I spoke to soon!!!

Just thought you might want to know.....great improvements from a quick and simple install.
