Problem Starting my 98 GT
Ok, here's the deal. I have a 1998 Mustang GT with 138000 miles and unfortunately its an automatic. Car has been working fine, then today I got in to drive to work and I cranked the engine and it didn't start. The engine cranks, but won't fire. Also, the fuel gauge reads full, when I know I have half a tank in there. I reset my trip odometer every time I fill up and its only at 115 miles. My first thought was to check the fuel pump cutoff. It was not tripped because the button was not able to be pushed down. I checked the fuel pump fuse, its good. Any thoughts on what broke, and if a fuel pump can just go like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Problem Starting my 98 GT
we've been having issues with kids shooting out car windows in my area with BB guns. hundreds of windows!! i heard they recently caught them, with a description of the vehicle and occupants, the officer they stopped to ask for directions made a successful arrest.
kids, not getting anymore well behaved, or smarter for that matter. [:-]
