I have seen this used on alot of ricers and evos, STI's etc.
I have not seen many mustangs/camaros use it though. We just have a ton of options for tuning our cars with the OEM computer anyway.

Ya apparantly a bundle of folks over on the turbo mustang board use this alot. I have been over there gathering info for my own project. I know the 4.6 computer can be improved greatly, but like you said you realy dont need to get rid of it. And yes it is a very bad name! LOL
