Default 4.6L 2V Ignition?

Hi guys,

is there any ignition system for the GT 2000? any thing at all like coils, etc...........

there's a few aftermarket parts, wires and plugs are about all you need though. I'm running FRPP 9mm wires and autolite 764's with stock coils. there are people making 600+ with stock coils.

i'm not sure i follow what you mean, but regardless don't worry, in most cases stock coils have proven actually less troublesome than aftermaket coils and just as good. my accel coils were garbage so i dumped them and went back to stock.

other than the needed spark plug for your setup, i dont think ignition is going to hold you back at all.

the 99-04 model GT's have COPs (Coil on Plug) so there is 8 individual coil packs on top of each cylinder which also means no wires
and yes there is a few things out like the granatelle system
