Default Vortech S/C

I am in the process of saving up for the Mongoose Kit SQ-Trim from MPH...while in the process of this i want to start buying little odds and ends that I will need to do the whole setup.

What A/F gauge and Boost gauge do you guys recommend i get??

I am also going to be getting the stock pulleys soon...

I'm planning on getting the powerpipe with the kit to make between 9-10 lbs of boost, sound good? What kind of numbers do you think I should be putting down with these mods??

SLP longtubes
slp o/r xpipe
slp loudmouth catback
4.10 gears
transgo shift kit
Vortech sq-trim kit set between 9-10lbs
accufab 70mm t/b and plenum

thanks guys, any info, advice, or comments on this s/c i would love to hear

you can run one on a stock motor, but bolt ons really help.

I went with autometer.

I have to say that I am not very impressed with them. The gauges themselves are great, but they advice not running the gauges with the lights on for long periods (whats that all about) and the fuel pressure gauge (230~ bucks) didn't come with the adapter to hook it to the fuel rail. For the price I expected them to do so.

Also, the a pillar holder is not what I thought it was. They advertise it like it will just snap on in place of the stocker, but you acutally have to use screws and drill thru your old one.

The product itself was ok, but for the premium price of autometer I thought they would be setup a bit better, espcially for the mustang.

people are always telling me to make sure that i get a wideband a/f ratio gauge...how does this one look??

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/aemgauge.htm

I am planning on going with that one and a boost gauge, not too sure on the boost gauge, but they are all the same so I'm more concerned with the a/f ratio one...let me know guys

I paid 100 bucks for an hour of dyno time, and the dyno shop almost acted embarassed charging me the entire 100 bucks cause I only used 3 pulls, but its cheap insurance.

Also, 99 percent of most a/f gauges are just lightshows. You don't need a a/f gauge since your going ot the dyno anyway. I have a fuel pressure gauge and a boost gauge. The fuel pressure was the only thing I was really worried about.
