I have made about 25 runs at the track and many on the street but at the track i just dusted them no burnout I may get 1000 or 2000 more miles but they are close to needing new ones.

i dont understand, you said that you got 2K on them thus far, and they are almost shot, now you expect you can get another 2K off of them???

there is NO reason you should have SHOT tread at 2,000 miles,,

ive got about 4K and have PLENTY of tread left, i think i might ahve just noticed the tread showing some wear within the last month, but thats it

if you beat the hell out of the tires all the time, no DR is gonna last for any significant period of time

I have 315/35/17 Nitto Drag Radials in the back. I think the life on them is around 12000-14000k mi.
I like them a lot.

Will those fit on the factory 17x8 wheels? Im looking into some D/R's soon. Stock tires are 245/45 17's Whats the biggest ya'll would recommend for stock wheels?

if youre on stock 17x8 rims, then stay with the stock tire size, or move up to a 275/40/17

This might have been covered before, but what's the largest tire that you can fit on a 9 inch wheel? I always hear about people asking about the widest possible tire for stock rims but never heard about the 9 inchers.

Mickey's hands down, but if you drive your tires on the street alot, nitto's for the win. Hey doughboy, did you go to the track this weekend?
