Default transmission leak

I have a leak which looks to be coming from the transmission pan, i was wondering if it could be from bad gaskets or the speedo
cable oring seal. The speedometer works fine up to about 65 then it goes up really fast like im going 100 when i am going 75. Would
that be a sign that the leak is coming from the speedo cable o ring seal. can anybody help?

Default RE: transmission leak

well the speedometer problem probably has nothing to do with the leak.

have a look at the pan, is anything wet ABOVE the pan? or just below it? If it is just below, you can drop the pan (with the fluid) put in a new filter and gasket and then refill the fluid, would be good in several ways.

Not sure what would cause that speedometer problem tho
