Probably a stupid question, but here goes...
I just got an XCAL 2 a couple days ago. I have an 87 and a 93 octane tune. The dealer left the settings open so I can mess with them on my own. I cannot, however, find the traction control setting to turn it off. Do I have to go back to the dealer to get him to turn it off or is there something I am missing. When I plug it in I can change the timing, the wheel rotations, speed limiter, etc., but I see no traction control.
Also, I have 275/40/17's on the car. What should I set the tire rotation to in order to correct the speedo for the tires?

With those tires, your rotation should be the same as the stock 245/45/17s that came on the car. The tire circumferance is the same.
BTW, how well do those tires hook? I'm looking at the same brand.

they are great tires for everything but traction at the track. I got them because they have good wear and are cheap. You can get about 30K out of them if you rotate them and for the price there is no better tire. I have had them in the rain with no traction problems, but I would not even get near snow with them. If you are looking for traction at the track, you need to look elsewhere. A drag radial is the way to go if you want traction. The best combo of wear on the street and traction at the strip would be Nitto 555's. That is where I am going for my next set.
